Hello to whomever has ended up here. I have no idea what this blog will end up being, seeing as that I haven't read the modules for the class for which I'm writing it, but I figured I'd just type out a few words here and see what happens. In the meantime, here's a picture of the cute little cucumber plant that suddenly decided, after only having two leaves on it, that it would try to have a baby cucumber
This is awesome! I wish I planted cucumbers but think that my space is just too small. ;-(
ReplyDeleteMy garden has been so pathetic this year. These cucumbers have really struggled. Three of them popped their heads out in April and have barely done anything since. One is moribund, but another has recently started to thrive. This one, for some reason, sprouted a flower nearly bigger than the plant. This is quite ambitious, for I cannot fathom how it expects to carry a cucumber on so small a frame.
ReplyDeleteThe cucumber plants have actually turned around. This plant that I posted about at the beginning of the year is doing better and actually does have a fruit growing on it. I found one plant while uprooting my radishes, but it did not survive transplant, sadly. I'm going to be creating a blog about gardening, because I think it's very interesting.
